Qualifications- (1)A candidate for direct recruitment to the post of Research Assistant (Engineering) must possess the following qualifications.

Essential- Degree in technology or Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Architecture from an institute or institution established by law in India or a degree recognised by Government as equivalent thereto.

Preferential Qualification- A candidate who has -

(i) served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or

(ii) Obtained a 'B' certificate of the National Cadet
